Flowerbx goes for growth with new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van
Newly established Flowerbx, an 'online flower market', is using a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDI for its operations.
Based in West London, Flowerbx began trading in April after taking delivery of their new van from Surrey and Sussex dealer Rossetts Commercials.
Set up by Adam Wilkie, former PR director for US fashion designer Tom Ford, Wilkie explained: “After many years in the industry I noticed that almost every chic and discerning person I came across, from Tom Ford and Christopher Bailey to Natalie Massenet and Victoria Beckham, prefer massive bunches of one flower scattered around, as opposed to the hotel lobby-style bouquets offered by most London florists.”
The high-end fashion publicist, who took the new Sprinter on an Agility contract hire agreement from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, continued: "We have rapidly garnered a loyal customer base and if demand continues to increase in line with projections it won't be long before we invest in additional Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It was the Mercedes-Benz image of quality and the clean lines that complement our fridge box, which attracted me to the Sprinter."
